  Our silicone hose reroutes hot coolant from the back of the cylinder head into the cold side of the coolant system, keeping Cylinders #5 and #6 cooler, thus mitigating potential issues caused by excessive heat. This proactive design prevents premature EGR failures that could lead to serious engine damage. EGR failures can manifest as cracks allowing coolant to enter the exhaust and intake, or as a malfunctioning valve that continuously pushes exhaust gas back into your engine.
